Harry, Ron and Hermione fly with the dragon, unable to steer, until they are low enough to jump off its back into a lake. There they cool their burns and reflect on their situation. They have another Horcrux but no means of destroying it and with their breaking into Gringotts they have alerted Voldemort to the fact that they are hunting his Horcruxes. Learning this news the Dark Lord kills the ones who told him about and decides to go checking the other Horcruxes. Harry sees his thoughts and learns the location of the last unknown Horcrux. It is Hogwarts, so they apparate, hidden by the Invisibility Cloak, to Hogsmeade hoping to arrive before Voldemort does.
