Chapter 18 - The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore

During the next days Harry feels demoralized and powerless because the visit in Godric′s Hollow was a complete flop and his wand has been destroyed beyond repair.
Meanwhile Hermione reads the biography of Dumbledore she took from Bathilda′s house and finds some shocking information. The blond boy shonw on the photo is Gellert Grindelwald, the dark wizard from Europe. Dumbledore and Grindelwald have had a two month long friendship but in the end they have not had the same ambition.
Later Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald who was sent to Nurmengard - a prison which is like Azkaban. In a letter which is published in the book Dumbledore pointed out that he wanted a new world order where wizards rule above the Muggels. When Harry hears about this he gets really shocked. Even Hermione′s reassurance does not help anything.
