Harry has problems to be friends with Ron and Hermione. Ron doesn′t want to deal with Hermione and nor does Hermione.
Hermione tells Harry that Romilda Vane wants to give Harry a love potion. Shortly afterwards Harry gets a present from her, but he doesn′t open it.
Harry invites Luna Lovegood to Professor Slughorn′s Christmas party.
During the party Eldred Worple wants to interview Harry, but he refuses this. Hermione has come to the party with Cormac McLaggen, who annoys her a lot.
Suddenly Filch arrives with Draco, who spent the time slinking through the corridor. Snape arrives, pulls Draco away and wants to have a word with him. Harry uses his Invisibility Cloak to follow them and overhears the conversation.
Snape wants to give a helping hand to Draco and warns him that he is suspected because of the happenings with Katie Bell. Draco doesn′t want Snape′s help and Snape tells Draco about the Unbreakable Vow he had given Draco′s mother Narcissa. Draco runs away and Snape goes back to Slughorn′s Christmas party.
