Here, in the country Aori, lived fairys. They lived mostly in the deep woods, isolated from our cities. But that should not remain so because soon they had to move out of necessity into our towns, because we cleared more and more of their forests to lay out our fields. So we took the original habitat from the elves. In the cities, built by us, the elves felt uncomfortable, but soon they got used to live in a confined space and with no green together.
Not much later they were the richest citizens of our cities, because they opened in all cities of our country their shops, where they offered the fine materials and noble jewelry of their people.
Some of us were very furious and jealous with the elves, as they were living in our cities and made better bargains here than we did. So it happened that the elves slowly but surely disappeared.
A silent war waged. In small street fights and through poison we killed more and more elves until at the end only occasional elves existed, who disappeared at last, too. So today there are no elves in our country Aori any more.
