The country Aori is a fantasyland with medieval conditions. The people there almost solely live in cities because they are afraid of the nature and especially of the deep forests, which make up a large part of Aori. In the deep forests there are enormous unknown creatures, the city people don’t know and all those who’ve sighted them on their journeys to other cities, by accident, think they are dangerous monsters.
That is how it came that the people only dared to go outside on their paved roads when they had to travel to other cities. Soon they have forgotten nearly all the knowledge they have ever had about the wilderness and the last remain of this knowledge has only stood the test of time in vague sagas and legends. I’d like to tell you two of these sagas and legends, now.
